New Years

As you can imagine, bringing in the New Year on the ship was a big party. Obviously there were costumes.

We had a member of the Cruise Director’s staff at every venue where Princess broadcast the countdown.

My station was up on the open deck where it was very windy. I joined in the line dances by the pool as my dress swirled around me revealing the shorts I wore underneath for modesty.

The crew got together after midnight to bring in our own midnight in the crew bar. I didn’t last long. Entertaining people is tiring!
