After the incredible tour the day before, I hung out with an Australian girl who said she would go on a black cab tour with me. I wanted to woo her into finding us a third (or just being a third person if I could find another) or splitting it with me so I could go. We went to dinner and she hardly noticed that she was having a conversation with herself. She told me all about her travels and how broke she was and yet later that night she bought five drinks at a bar instead of the intended one and took a taxi home. The next morning she dawdled as I unsuccessfully tried to seduce a 3rd person for the cab. Finally it was check out time, everyone was doing what they planned for the day and she couldn’t afford to split the cab. Annoyed, I decided I would just walk around and look at the murals. I’ll do the cab tour next time I’m in Belfast. So these are the murals I found interesting and I don’t know their significance. Though I am fully aware that I could have paid more than 12 pounds and just done the tour anyway, I’m choosing to blame this Australian girl. Plus I had to catch a bus to Derry…
